In accordance with Act 526 of the Louisiana Legislative Session of 2022, GOHSEP has developed the Emergency Management Training Program for Local Officials and Employees. This training program is essential for local officials and employees to understanding key components of emergency management. This training will include the following:
 Roles + Responsibilities for State + GOHSEP + Local Officials
 Contracting for Goods and Services Before, During and After a Disaster, Procurement Procedures + Reimbursement Requirements + Utilization of Prepositioned Contracts
 Submitting Requests for Resources and Services
 Standards + Regulations for Disbursement of Public Assets and Diversion of Resources
 Availability + Utilization of Nonprofits
