EHTER CDP 014-06 Environmental Health Training in Emergency Response (EHTER) - Introductory Level

CDP RESIDENT COURSE. A 24-hour course that provides an overview of environmental health topics, issues, and challenges faced during emergency response. The purpose of the course is to increase the level of emergency preparedness of environmental health practitioners and other emergency response personnel by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to address the environmental health impacts of emergencies and disasters. Included in the course are 9 modules that address key areas of environmental health: disaster management; responder safety; potable water; wastewater management and disposal; food safety; vector control and pest management, solid waste and hazardous materials; shelters; and building assessment.

EMMIE PA EMMIE Basics - State

"This course provides participants an orientation for using and working in the Emergency Management Mission Integrated Environment (EMMIE). The topics addressed in this course include: basic navigation within EMMIE, locating Requests for Public Assistance (RPAs), locating the Case Management File (CMF), locating and following FEMA's review and approval process, locating Project Worksheets (PWs), distinguishing between PWs which are approved and which are not yet approved, accessing and downloading attachments, and generating reports related to grant management.

This course is presented by GOHSEP and focuses on topics which are instrumental to the grants management activities performed by the State, therefore, EMMIE courses taught by FEMA do not substitute for this course.
