"This course is intended to introduce the Public Assistance Grants Management staff to the Express Pay System Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Policy and Process manual. The Express Pay System Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Policy and Process manual outlines the standard processes which are to be followed. By outlining standardized processes, this SOP Policy and Process manual will allow for consistency amongst the Grants Management staff in completing Express Pay Systems.

"This course provides participants an overall review of all summary types, the definition of each, the documentation needed for each, what a Program Specialist should look for and review on each, as well as other miscellaneous topics surrounding Expense Reviews. This course if primarily a review course of the information learned in the four prior Expense Review courses. It also provides an introduction into the concept of the cost line items of a Project Worksheet (PW) and the associated tracking performed by the Program Specialist (PS) within the Cost Estimate Tracking (CET). This course teaches basic fundamentals of navigation in Excel 2016. Topics covered include: Creating a new workbook, inserting or deleting a worksheet, move or copy worksheets or worksheet data, using tools in the ribbon, formatting cells, adding rows and columns, sorting columns, freezing page views, filtering data, basic formulas, printing a worksheet or workbook, etc.

Excel-EM Mastering Microsoft Excel for Emergency Management

This course will enable users to format, organize, and calculate data in a spreadsheet. It will also empower participants with key skills to create and edit worksheets, implement formulas and functions, and sort and filter detailed data. This course will begin with the basic fundamentals and, by the end of the course, the participant will be utilizing complex pivot tables, charts, and conditional formatting. Manuals and training exercises will be provided for the participant to keep after the course is completed.
