Scenario

This discussion based exercise will focus on the immediate recovery activities to jump start individual and community recovery. From lessons learned, Louisiana is still heavily engaged in the recovery lines of efforts to address the SW and SE quadrant impacts to the state. With a housing shortage prior to the impacts and across the nation, survivors and communities still struggle to move the needle in recovery much less until resiliency. Boomerang will examine processes and steps needed to position resources to expedite recovery but also provide for courses of action to address resiliency and equity of vulnerable populations.
