Scenario

A chlorine tank barge, containing four 53,000 gallon containers, was involved in a collision with a shrimp trawl boat. One or more containers have been damaged leading to dispersal of toxic gas, and presumed release of liquid chlorine into the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. Drinking water intakes, several healthcare facilities, and residential structures are located in close proximity.
