ICS-400 - Advanced Incident Command System

Description

The target audience for this course is senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area Command or Multi-agency Coordination Entity. This course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 courses. This course will include but not be limited to: major and/or complex incident/event management, area command, and multi-agency coordination. This course is designed to provide overall management skills rather than tactical expertise.

The physical address is 6500 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA 70119. It is the same address as Audubon Zoo and Audubon Park. You want to make sure that you are on the Audubon Zoo side of Magazine St. The Dominion Learning Center is located just behind the statue of John James Audubon. You can park in any of the spaces that are open in the parking lot. Please respect handicapped spaces and conservation spaces. The closest intersection to the Dominion Learning Center is Entergy Blvd and Aquarium Dr. After parking and walking to the statue, you will pass the statue and find an iron gate with a green #10 on it. We will have a Security Officer posted at the gate to allow entry before the class. After the class starts, if you have to go back to your vehicle, you can hit the intercom to speak with the officer to get back in.
